Hello, I am Florian Simnacher. Welcome to my website!

I am 27 years old and located in Munich, Germany. I present some information about me and my projects on this site.

At first there is the project Konserve. It is a backup application written in C++ that runs under Linux and the KDE Desktop environment. Once configured it creates backups periodically and helps restoring incidentally removed files or directories.

I use GnuPG to encrypt and sign emails. I case you want to send me an encrypted email please use this public key. One remark on SPAM: For most emails I receive I can only scan through the sender and subject lines, because I use a spam filter. So please provide a meaningful subject line that clearly refers to me or my website.

And last but not least there is the Miscellaneous page. There you will find small programs or documents I have written and which might be interesting for others. For example there is a program that typesets ASCII text left and right justified. Also available is a german translation of: "How to Organize Your Thesis".
